Product Introduction
The Compact 45 Series Slot Sensor is a high-performance photoelectric sensor designed for precise object detection in industrial automation applications. With its compact form factor, robust construction, and advanced optical technology, this sensor ensures reliable operation in demanding environments. It is widely used in packaging, material handling, assembly lines, and robotics for detecting presence, position, and counting of objects.
Equipped with two independent outputs
All models are equipped with two independent outputs - ON when light enters and ON when blocked, which can meet different output requirements according to different places of use.
Note: Only the used cables need to be connected (ON when light comes in or ON when blocked). For unused output lines, be sure to insulate them.
Various models
There are many types, with up to 6 shapes, from which you can choose the model that meets your installation conditions.
Wire lead out
Standard 2M flexible wire, the wire length can be customized.
Optional bending resistant drag chain line-GR.
Optional white normally open and black normally closed-SX.
Wide voltage range
The power supply voltage range is 5~24VDC.
High speed response
The response frequency is 3KHZ high-speed response.

Working Principle
The Compact 45 Series operates on the through-beam (slot-type) sensing principle, where an emitter and receiver are housed in a single U-shaped unit. When an object passes through the slot, it interrupts the infrared beam, triggering the sensor output.
Detection Modes
Light-ON Mode: Output activates when beam is uninterrupted.
Dark-ON Mode: Output activates when beam is blocked.
The sensor’s high-speed response (≤1ms) ensures reliable detection even for fast-moving objects.
