Working Principle
The Compact 45 Series operates on the through-beam (slot-type) sensing principle, where an emitter and receiver are housed in a single U-shaped unit. When an object passes through the slot, it interrupts the infrared beam, triggering the sensor output.
Detection Modes
Light-ON Mode: Output activates when beam is uninterrupted.
Dark-ON Mode: Output activates when beam is blocked.
The sensor’s high-speed response (≤1ms) ensures reliable detection even for fast-moving objects.
